A Way With Francais

I recently read a book that I did not much care for. In fact, I straight DNF'd it. I won't name names, though.

Typically, if I DNF a book it means I got zero, zilch, nada from its reading. But this particular book gave me one of the best quotes I have ever heard. I will forever use this quote when I hear about an unfortunate situation.

The quote is given in French as, "Tris comme un repas sans fromage." Translated it means: "Sad as a meal without cheese."

As a person who is always sprinkling just a little bit (and then a little bit more) of cheese on every meal she's ever made, I can relate to this quote. There is something tragic about a meal without cheese.
